Kormorán Marina lies just a stone’s throw from the River Tisza and Lake Tisza. Its location, along with its quiet, secluded accommodation options, offers true rejuvenation for all who visit. It is a unique little water village.
You can choose from lakeside rooms, rent a detached apartment house, a stilt house, or discover one of our three floating houses, each with its own distinctive style. For those who want to spend a few days in real seclusion, we recommend our waterside cabins.
The floating houses, treehouses, and stilt houses provide an exclusive experience of relaxation and recharge, while the lakeside rooms and waterfront houses offer the authentic atmosphere of Lake Tisza.
A wide range of waterside services make active recreation even more colorful: boat trips, bicycle rental, canoe and SUP rental, as well as endless options for fishing and mooring.
TREEHOUSES
A true highlight of the marina is the three onion-domed treehouses, standing on six-meter-high stilts and harmoniously integrated into the floodplain forest. In the treehouses you will find everything you need for Eastern-style comfort, with the added bonus of untouched nature at arm’s length. Fall asleep to the soft sounds of the Tisza riverside wildlife and enjoy your breakfast on the terrace above the floodplain forest. The experience is further enhanced by a jacuzzi placed high above the ground.
FLOATING HOUSES
In these air-conditioned in summer and heated in winter houses, there is a spacious living room with an American-style kitchen, two twin bedrooms, and two en-suite bathrooms with showers. We especially recommend this type of accommodation to boat owners, anglers, nature-loving water tourists, families, and groups of friends. From the living room and terrace you can enjoy a magnificent view of the Lake Tisza landscape. From the covered terrace you can even fish directly into Lake Tisza and observe the life of waterbirds with the naked eye, without binoculars.
STILT HOUSES
The stilt houses offer comfortable accommodation for 4 guests, with two bedrooms each having their own private bathroom, as well as a well-equipped kitchen, open-plan dining area, and living room. From almost every corner of our stilt houses, the dazzling panorama of Lake Tisza unfolds before you. On cooler days you do not have to miss out on the view, as you can admire the many beauties of nature through the large glass walls of the cozy, warm living room. And on summer mornings, what could be more relaxing than enjoying a wonderful breakfast on a terrace above the water?
WATERFRONT HOUSES
Guests are welcomed by unique waterfront apartment houses at Kormorán Marina. These air-conditioned in summer and heated in winter houses each have two twin bedrooms (with extra beds available), a well-equipped eat-in kitchen, and a bathroom with shower. From their sheltered terraces there is a splendid view of the Tisza riverside landscape. The seven apartment-style houses with their special atmosphere are located directly on the water’s edge.
LAKESIDE ROOMS
The lakeside rooms are located right on the banks of the Tisza, in a beautifully designed setting with high-quality finishes. Five twin rooms with private bathrooms, a large lounge, and a covered terrace ensure our guests’ comfort.
WATERSIDE CABINS
The campsite for the waterside cabins is located on a quiet stretch of shore near the marina. Nearby we have created a designated area for grilling and cooking in a cauldron; electricity and drinking water are also available. On request, for an extra fee, we are happy to move your cabin to a beautiful, atmospheric spot on the Tisza or in the nearby floodplain (within a 1–2 km radius).
