Self-guided boat tours on Lake Tisza (from early April to the end of October).

The GPSassisted boat tours on Lake Tisza can be booked independently and are available
without purchasing an Ecocentre admission ticket.
From April 2026, the participation fee for GPS tours is 8,500 HUF per boat per hour (deposit:
10,000 HUF per boat, payable in cash only). The deposit is refunded at the end of the
programme, provided that no damage has been caused and the boat and all its accessories and
equipment are returned in full.
Ticket Office No. 3, located by the flood embankment, can be reached by bicycle or on foot.
If you are coming exclusively for the boat tour and do not wish to buy an Ecocentre admission
ticket, please use the car park at the public beach of Poroszló. From there, the harbour can be
reached with a short 300metre walk along the embankment.
GPSguided boat tours can be booked in advance. Please send your exact arrival time, number
of participants, chosen route and the number of boats requested to kikoto@ttoc.hu at least 48
hours before the desired starting time. The same address can be used to request information
about available time slots and capacities, as well as the conditions and rules of the tours. Your
reservation becomes valid once it has been confirmed by the Ecocentre. Preregistration is not
compulsory; the tours may also be used without advance booking, but in this case availability
cannot be guaranteed.
All onsite administration related to GPSguided boat tours (payment of rental fee and deposit,
signing of the handover form, etc.) can only be done at Ticket Office No. 3 at the
embankment gate. At the main entrance Ticket Office No. 1 and at Ticket Office No. 2 by the
event area, GPSguided boat tour administration is not available.
When planning your GPSguided tour, please make sure – depending on the planned duration
of the trip – that you return to the harbour at least 30 minutes before ticket office closing time,
to allow sufficient time for the settlement and refund of the deposit.
In the event of a level2 storm warning, the Ecocentre may suspend the departure of boat tours;
during a level1 storm warning, only the 1hour routes can be used.
With 12 different routes of varying length and duration, everyone can find the ideal adventure
– from short family outings to longer exploratory trips. With easytofollow GPS tracks, you
can safely navigate through a maze of reed beds and winding water channels, experiencing the
rich wildlife and exceptional tranquillity of Lake Tisza at close range. It is a perfect
